Laura graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2008, and after completing Vocational Training, she went on to work for a highly respected Sheffield practice, carrying out a range of general, cosmetic and paediatric dentistry, and training undergraduate dental students through the University Outreach program in a role as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer. During this time she completed the MFDS examinations with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
She has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Education to improve her teaching skills. Laura spent a year working in a leading private practice in Auckland, New Zealand, before returning to Sheffield.
Laura is friendly and approachable, and aims to make her patients feel involved in treatment decisions and prevention, whilst keeping the appointments as stress-free as possible. She believes every patient has individual aspirations for their dental health and it is essential to listen and understand each patient’s vision to get the best outcome for them.
She enjoys carrying out all aspects of dentistry, in particular tooth whitening and placing composite restorations, using adhesive technology to preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible. She is qualified in Invisalign.
Laura can help patients understand how their skin and face changes over time, and advise patients how to achieve the look they want – she is qualified to perform Anti-Ageing Injections.
When not fixing teeth, she enjoys skiing, cooking and spending time with her husband and little boy.
