For existing NHS patients, NHS fees are presently set out by the department of health, into three bands of treatment.
Covers an examination, diagnosis and advice. If necessary it also includes X-rays, a scale and polish and planning for further treatment.
Covers all treatments covered by Band 1, plus additional treatment , such as fillings, root canal treatment and extractions.
Covers all treatment covered by Bands 1 and 2, plus more complex procedures, such as crowns and dentures.

Many treatments such as white fillings, implants and tooth whitening are not offered on the NHS, so we can discuss all of the options with you.

Sharrow Vale Dental Care offers our own Dental Plan called Practice Plan. It encourages regular attendance, enables us to spot problems early and helps maintain healthy teeth and gums for life. The Plan allows patients to spread the cost of their treatment over a year and provides a fantastic programme of preventative care that can be of better value than the conventional fee per item treatment.
The cost is £15.50 per month and is payable by direct debit. The monthly fee covers a bi-annual examination and scale and polish.
Additional benefits include 20% off all non-specialist treatments including whitening, x-rays as necessary, 10% off dental products and eligibility to request assistance from the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme.

I have been using the denture now for four months and certainly feel like I made the right choice. It fits exceptionally well, does not move about and enables me to chew and bite with confidence. I find it easy to remove and fit for cleaning.
