Having grown up in the West Midlands, Ian qualified from Sheffield Dental School in 2014, heading straight to university from sixth form. Ian chose Sheffield due to its proximity to the peak district, but still having a big city feel and has chosen to make Sheffield his home having now settled in the region.
Since qualifying, Ian has practised throughout the South Yorkshire area, having a wide experience in general dentistry, including treatment planning and aesthetic dentistry. Patient comfort and care is his top priority, ensuring he advocates for the right care at every stage.
Outside of work, Ian is a massive sports fan. He is a season ticket holder at West Bromwich Albion and a big fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. He enjoys playing football and cricket. He is a foster carer for the Support Dogs UK charity and is currently fostering a black Labrador called Burnsie.
